Tuition is recommended by the Advisory Board of Christ the Teacher Catholic School upon planning and collaboration between the Principal and Business Manager. We have worked diligently to contain costs while continuing to challenge children to learn and grow in a compassionate and supportive environment that enables them to thrive spiritually, academically, socially, and emotionally. We can proudly celebrate the gift of offering a quality education within a community of faith while maintaining more than competitive rates for private school education.

- New Families: A registration fee of $250 is due at the time of completing the application. The registration fee is non-refundable. New families register on the website under the "Admissions" tab and clicking on the appropriate grade level. Payment is made by check and dropping off the completed application. Please note that families should have a tour and meet the Administration before applying. If you have not had a tour yet or come to Open House, please click "Request a Tour" at the top of the page.
- Current Families: A fee of $250 is due during the re-registration process. The re-registration fee is non-refundable. At that time, payment will be made via your FACTS account.
All tuition and fee payments are made online through the FACTS system, which links directly to your bank account or another account that you choose. Beginning in July, tuition is paid. Tuition can be paid in one installment in July, two installments in July and November, or ten monthly payments from July through April. An additional fee is added each year in grades 6-8 for Middle School. FACTS Tuition Management charges a small annual fee per family for direct withdrawal of tuition and school incidentals such as Extended Day, field trips, school lunches, sports, choir, band, piano lessons, and other activities after school. Please read below for other details.
Out of justice to all parents and the parish community, parents are expected to keep tuition payments up to date. All parents and guardians are responsible for tuition and other fees charged by the school. The business manager will review the tuition records regularly. Student report cards will not be released if the tuition account has an outstanding balance. In addition, the school reserves the right to take further action, up to and including dismissal, if tuition payments are not made in a timely fashion. If a family leaves after the tuition payments for the new school year have begun, the payments made up to that point in time are non-refundable. Once school begins, families pay for the full trimester of enrollment no matter what date a transfer occurs.
To apply for financial assistance, all students must first be accepted and enrolled at Christ the Teacher Catholic School. The application must be complete and the registration fee paid in full.
Through the generosity of parishioners of the parishes in the Catholic Diocese of Wilmington and through donors to Christ the Teacher Catholic School, we can provide limited financial assistance to families who seek it. A third party determines financial needs outside of the school. As finances and donations permit, an effort is made to provide the level of financial assistance needed to enable children to remain in school.
Financial assistance is provided starting in Kindergarten. Unfortunately, assistance is not provided for students in Pre-Kindergarten. Pre-K tuition is tax-deductible.
To apply for financial assistance, an online form provided by the FACTS company must be completed. This form has a strict deadline (January 31, 2025, for the 2025/2026 school year) and application procedure. You will need to upload or fax supporting documents to FACTS, including your most recent tax returns, your W-2, and documentation of any government forms of assistance. The Catholic Diocese of Wilmington and Christ the Teacher Catholic School cannot consider incomplete applications for consideration of financial assistance.
