Through the generosity of parishioners of the parishes in the Catholic Diocese of Wilmington, and through donors to Christ the Teacher Catholic School, we are able to provide limited financial assistance to families who seek it.  Financial need is determined by a third party outside of the school.  As finances and donations permit, an effort is made to provide the level of financial assistance needed to enable children to remain in the school.

Financial assistance is provided starting in Kindergarten.  Unfortunately, assistance is not provided for students in Pre-Kindergarten. Please note: Tuition assistance will be granted to only those families whose children are officially registered in a diocesan school.  Therefore, enrollment must be official before tuition assistance can be offered.

To apply for financial assistance, an online form provided by the FACTS company must be completed.  This form has a strict deadline (January 31, 2024, for the 2024-2025 school year) and application procedure.  You will need to upload supporting documents to FACTS including your most recent tax returns, your W-2, and documentation of any government forms of assistance.  The Catholic Diocese of Wilmington and Christ the Teacher Catholic School cannot consider incomplete applications to the FACTS form for consideration of financial assistance.

First-time FACTS users must create an account.  However, if you currently use FACTS Tuition Management, you may use the same credentials to log into FACTS Tuition Assistance.

Applications and all required documentation must be received by FACTS no later than January 31, 2024.  There will be no exceptions to the deadline.

Families currently receiving tuition assistance from the diocese must reapply for 2024-2025 consideration.  Assistance is not automatically renewed from year to year.

If you are applying for tuition assistance for more than one child and your children attend different parish, inter-parochial, or diocesan schools or high schools, completion of only one application is required.  Tuition assistance is provided to children attending grades Kindergarten-Grade 12.  Pre-Kindergarten and Extended Day are not funded through the program.  Also, if you wish to be considered for assistance offered by CTTCS, you must indicate your place of worship on the application.

You can log into online.factsmgt.com to check the status of your application.  Please allow two weeks for your application and supporting documents to be processed.

Upon completion of FACTS evaluation of all applicants, awards will be made based on the family's financial need and the money available for distribution from the diocese's Education Trust.  All applicants will be notified accordingly by the diocesan development office by mid-March 2024.

NOTE: Applying for tuition assistance does not suggest that an award will be made.  Diocesan funds are limited and therefore assistance is provided to the neediest of applicants.  After the diocese completes its award determinations, Christ the Teacher Catholic School (CTTCS) offers assistance to families in need.  Families who did not apply for FACTS financial aid will not be considered for CTTCS tuition assistance funds.
