Mrs. Ofelia Castaneda

My name is Ofelia Castaneda and I am thrilled to be your child's Pre-K 3 teacher. I became a part of this school's community in 2019. I graduated from Wilmington University in 2017 with a Bachelor in Elementary Education K-6. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, going to the beach, knitting, crocheting, and reading. I was born in Mexico and I am fluent in Spanish. I will encourage my saints and scholars to learn Spanish through songs and prayer. 

In my pre-kindergarten classroom, I hope to create a place full of learning, outdoor adventures, reading, singing, critical thinking and dancing. It is a place where saints and scholars can be who they are and learn through play. If you have any questions, please email me.
