Grade 4 Teacherawatheychristtheteacher.orgHello! My name is Aimee Wathey and I am currently a fourth grade teacher at CTTCS. Prior to teaching fourth grade, I taught the Pre-K 4 students here at Christ the Teacher for five years. I am certified in the State of Delaware for Elementary Grades K-6 as well as Early Childhood/Primary K-4. I have over 15 years of experience in elementary education.Prior to moving to Delaware with my husband, Tom, I grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I attended Ohio University where I graduated Summa Cum Laude with my degree in Elementary Education. I have also taught both first and second grades in the Diocese of Pittsburgh.I have been a parent at Christ the Teacher since the school opened its doors in 2002, and my three children are CTTCS graduates.In my free time, I enjoy reading, spending time with my family, friends, and our Golden Retriever, Cooper, and hanging out at the beach.Fourth grade is a wonderful year of growth! I am excited to be on this learning journey with you and your children!
